Anthony Bates is a resident with Fountain of Hope Counseling Center LLC. In 2014, He graduated from Elizabeth State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. And, in September 2021, he graduated from Capella University with a Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy.
Anthony, in 2010, began his journey in the counseling field because he understood what it meant to be stuck and not have the necessary tools or support to help him. He did not want to see others struggle in this way, so he discovered his passion was and is helping individuals, families, couples, children, and teens rebuild their lives and relationships by overcoming struggles in life.
Anthony currently works with clients to help them identify their desires and empower them to make those positive changes in their lives. He understands that making the decision to seek help can be difficult, so his approach one of compassion, direct, and non-judgmental to help create an environment where clients feel supported in their counseling journey. He treatment approach is geared towards the client; however, he specializes in Solution Focus Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Anthony also likes using Integrative Therapy.
Anthony’s focuses primary focus is to help his client’s overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, family changes, parenting issues, and more.
