Alyce Oxton

Alyce Oxton is a Licensed Resident in Counseling at Fountain of Hope Counseling Center, LLC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling from Walden University. Alyce is working to get the necessary clinical hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Alyce has been married for 31 years and over those years she noticed friends, family, and acquaintances struggling with relationships. This is how her desire to become a counselor started. After going through the master’s program, she realized that counseling has become her passion.

Alyce focuses on the client’s needs and adjusts treatment plans and utilizes theories that best suit the client. She has a strong background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Alyce believes in holistic approaches to counseling, which encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. She works with clients of all ages and offers individual, couples, and family counseling.
