Emily is a licensed master’s social worker specializing in supporting children and families through transitions and addressing anxiety, trauma, mood, and behavioral disorders. She is dedicated to creating meaningful connections and tailored treatment plans to help clients reach their goals.

Therapy can be challenging, but it should also be engaging and enjoyable. Emily uses a variety of creative and fun strategies within her strength-based and trauma-informed framework to foster a welcoming environment where creativity and communication thrive. By tailoring her approach to each individual’s needs, she aims to enhance family cohesion, boost self-esteem, and improve overall quality of life.

Emily has worked in the mental health field for 7 years and has experience working in community, school based and outpatient settings. Prior to attending the University of Pittsburgh and graduating with her master’s in social work in 2022, she held various roles in mental health research, early childhood development, non-profit organizations and the U.S Armed Forces that ultimately encouraged her to pursue direct clinical work with children and families.Emily is a supervisee in social work, pursuing her independent clinical social work license and is under supervision of a LCSW with over 10 years of experience.
