Chanda Pittman is a Resident in Counseling with Fountain of Hope Counseling Center, LLC. She has always had an interest in understanding patterns of human behavior and helping others to gain perspectives that will allow them to be the best version of themselves. Chanda has over 25 years of experience working with students and families as a Teacher and Professional School Counselor. In her role as a counselor, Chanda is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions and experiences without judgment. Known for her exceptional listening skills and empathetic approach, she helps individuals navigate complex issues and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.

Based on her own personal experiences and her professional work as a school counselor, she brings valuable insights into resilience and personal transformation, which enrich her ability to support clients facing their own challenges.

Chanda’s philosophy centers on the belief that every individual’s journey holds the potential for healing and growth. By integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques with holistic practices, she uses approaches that empower clients to cultivate resilience, self-acceptance, and lasting change on their path to wellness.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia, followed by a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Old Dominion University.

There will be no changes to our current operations in August. All appointments and sessions will continue as scheduled at our current location. Starting September 1st, 2024, please note the new locations for your therapist as mentioned above.
